Virgin flying club - Combining Krisflyer and flying club miles

I currently have an amount of Krisflyer miles which i am unlikely to use on Singapore airlines in the future.

I am keen to use them on a virgin flight, and have enough to get a one-way economy trip from e.g. Tokyo to LHR.

I also have around 10k of flying club miles. Would it be possible to use the krisflyer miles to get a one-way economy flight, and then use the flying club miles to upgrade this to premium economy?

apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere, my searches did not come up with anything.

You can use Krisflyer miles to get a oneway award. But as with any award tickets you can't upgrade on it.

Krisflyer miles do not have to be redeemed solely on Singapore Airlines.
