Does anyone else plays this?
It is pretty ridiculous now.
You have to click continously in the game to get a meaningful time, but you get +20 minutes for just referring a friend. The people in top 10 are just jumping ahead by 20 minutes increment and their time is higher than the time the game is running!!!
I suspect they are just creating fake emails and referring themselves to get the referral bonus. I won't be surprised if the winner will have 30 days of play accumulated by the end of the game (which takes 7 days)
Do you think that emailing swiss can change something?

As an example.
The game is running now for 1 day, 16 hours.

The top 5 players:
1: Dieter35 1 day 23 hours !!!
2: Pilou 1 day 18 hours !!!
3: Chavi 1 day 16 hours ! (10 minutes more)
4: uweg 1 day 10 hours
5: alesiba 23 hours

Please note that unless you don't sleep you won't manage 24 hours of play time in 1 day. Player #1 had only 12 hours of play after 24 hours of game, so then he jumped 35 hours ahead in 16 hours, which means at least 57 invitations (if he plays through the night)

Is this a contest in spamming?

Note: while I finished this message, the 5th player jumped 1 hour ahead (3 invitations)
Later: alesibe jumped on the bandwagon and I can confirm that players listed as 1,2,3,5 are jumping ahead by invitations...

you are right it's pretty ridiculous.
Currently #1 has accumulated 25 days "on board", while the game is running for for less than than 5 days. It means that more than 20 days have been won by referrals. Simple math: 20 days x 24 hours x 3 (20 min per hour) = 1440.
So this person has invited 1440 friends to this game and all registered for the game ....
This guy has really a lot of friends...
The probability of honest playing is just near zero...
Swiss is making itself ridiculous with this game.
And when you try to reach the person in charge @ Swiss, nobody answers the call.
We should stop playing this game and send a lot of e-mails to Swiss so they stop this ridiculous joke.

I wrote an e-mail to the published adress and today I got the following answer:
The e-mail starts with an explanation how the game works and the explanation that some users have invited a lot of friends to participitate. That's why they recieve lots of time credit and now have these highscores. The fact that users make use of these time credits through invitations is according to SWISS not a reason to exclude them from the game. SWISS will consider a limit for invitations and a reduction of time credits for the next game round. There was no reaction to the fact that No.1 has invited more than 1500 friends and all accepted....

For me this answer is not satisfactory at all. SWISS does not see a problem at all (or will not admit one).

Well, you can only win in a single round, so if we'll get 3 rounds of no spam-bots game, that would be fine with me. To get first place now, you would need to invite 3 friends per minute until midnight, which is an easy task for an spambot, but pretty impossible for a human.

Fly09 is right.
Stop playing games which are so obviously ridiculous.
Also when inviting friends would not be possible: you would have to sit in front of your screen for 7 days and nights in a row to make sure you have a chance of winning (because anyone else can do just that and there is only one winner). So you know you are competing with people that do nothing else all day. Is that how you'd like to spend your days? Don't you have somewhere to fly to? ;)
Just sign on for the prize draw in the end and leave the game for what it is @:-)

Hooray!
I got a reply from SWISS.
From tomorrow there will be limit of 30 invites per week, with only 5 minutes each! That means maximum time 2 hours 30 minutes! Great news.
Now let's prepare for some serious clicking ;)

The game just ended.
In the last minute, the first two players got about 1 hour worth of referrals!
1. Papije 51.38 days
2. Russe 48.79 days
3. viktoria 45.25 days
4. Chavi 38.06 days
5. yesh 6.01 days
It will be interesting who will win...

In the new round, it is 6 minutes after midnight and Papije has already 4 hours of referrals. Sweet. He is not even playing. His score went from 0 seconds to 2500 seconds, then 4500 seconds and now 11000 seconds.

EDIT: That's it! 4 hours 18 minutes it the maximum you can get through referrals!

First they awarded bonus of 500 seconds 31 times. Then they changed it to 400 seconds and later to 300 seconds. This equals 5 minutes now. You could see the Papije player DROP from 4:18 to 2:35 at about 30 minutes after midnight.
The maximum time is 2 hours 35 minutes.

New suspicious behavior: Half of the plane is filled with random accounts with names like "5J8T2FDL" etc. They all have similar times = 2:30 to 2:50
Something is going on.

Disappointing these big companies' games!!

I don't know if this has been always the case, but there are conflicting informations regarding how to win. Meanwhile the game instructions mention that you need to sit down the longest to win, the contest conditions on sign up speak about "The weekly winners shall be selected at random from all participants who entered the previous week (Wednesday to Tuesday) each Wednesday at approximately 11 am."

And all those alt accounts with random names are probably good so somebody can kick out the competition.

Honestly, I believe that I could write an automatic program which places you to a new seat every time you have been kicked out within 2 or 3 hours... Just triggered by email to an imap account...

But it is not worth the time - even the first price of a business class ticket to zrh is not even worth 300 Euros with the Business Saver offer. I dont understand how Swiss wastes the time of their customers with such a stupid game. Every of this games is only intended for people without a job or for computer freaks writting automatically acting programs.... Just a waste of time!

Exactly my point before. This is not worth anyone's time.

I liked the idea, but robots are there and have always been there.
It takes a few lines of code to make some automatic clicking action.

It beats me that marketing people always miss that little irritating point when they design those fantastic promotions.

Also there must be a bug or something. On place 5, sousa and pompeji are swapping back and forth although they are hours apart in sitting time.

Day 6 of this weeks' game is almost at the end and it is clear the the winner will be one of these 4 players: yesh, lbeltrao, spi2300, daveh
5th player, Sousa, can get 2nd place at best.

According to my observations, no other player can get into TOP3 this week.

Another private observation: That hunder bots with names like f4yxd58s and oqda0v6q belong to player Sousa, which is on 5th place at the moment. I was tracking few of them over few days to see how good are they in 'sitting' and they are consistent together. I'm expecting Sousa to be a serious contender for 1st place next week.

@JanoS-

Seriously, why do you spend all this time watching what others do in this game and making these "observations"?

As you said in your very first post of this thread, this game is ridiculous. I would just let it go and invest my time into something more useful - just my 2 cents. @:-)

JanoS-
Oct 12, 09, 10:28 am
Well, while I was playing I wanted to know who are the people playing consistently (like not sleeping for example) to know who is 'dangerous'. Then I noticed the amount of bots whom I cannot fight with and stopped playing.
Being a little obsessive with numbers I kept watching the players how they're doing.

Without the unlimited invitations the game stopped being totally ridiculous, but with robots it is still not fun for real people.

JanoS-
Oct 14, 09, 2:25 am
Haha, my observation is correct. "Sousa" is the only non-bot player in the top50. Somehow the bots leave him be and don't kick out of his seat ;)

In the meantime Sousa took over the complete game with his dummies!
Swiss is so ridiculous to just watch this! Why do they not delete his dummies?
You could even look at it as a sports who has the better bot, but taking over the whole game is just an ........

JanoS-

Bots have been deleted, and Swiss implemented some sort of text code you have to enter before you can sit down. Cool.

First week TOP5:
1. Papije 51.38 days
2. Russe 48.79 days
3. viktoria 45.25 days
4. Chavi 38.06 days
5. yesh 6.01 days

Second week TOP5:
1. yesh 6.45 days
2. lbeltrao 5.87 days
3. spi2300 5.52 days
4. daveh 5.13 days
5. Sousa 4.77 days

Third week TOP5:
1. ellie 3.98 days
2. micharai 3.81days
3. veli4nf 3.54days
4. gjozefia 3.15 days

This looks like the first week when people actually slept (and/or not used bots) :) And also a good sign that it might be worth our time to play next round too.
