Flying Blue (Air France & KLM) - Enough miles for silver level, but no upgrade. Why?

Hi All,

Last month I earned enough level miles, to reach the Silver level. Allthough the website shows all my miles, I'm not upgraded to the Silver level. I can't understand, why that is. I'm very disappointed.

Sending an email to their helpdeks, didn't work, you get some automated reply...

Any suggestions?

Call FB and ask. The email auto-response seems to be the standard reply to anything.

Is it possible that you have mistaken award miles for level miles? I am sorry to ask, but it won't be the first time that has happened.

Both the award, and the level miles are equal. And enough for the new level.
I tried to call, but also the phone only has a auto response system....

Any other suggestions maybe?

My guess is that the posting of miles and the change of status are two different activities, that do not necessarily occur at the same time. I get through to FB on the phone without any problems, but I wonder if my PE status helps with that. Getting through and getting a helpful response are not the same thing of course :>) I do not have any other suggestions and am sorry I cannot be more helpful. I would keep trying the phone, but I would leave it about ten days first, as I my guess is that your eleite status will appear shortly. Let us know what happens.
