National - Using foreign site to book?

I'm looking at a OW rental in N. America between 2 major cities. Using the N. American sites, I get either a very high rate or a reasonable rate with zero free miles. Great circle distance is about 320 miles so the mileage charge would run $125.

If I use a foreign site to book (no country of residency questions asked), I can get a fully-inclusive rate with free miles of about $50 (slightly less prepaid). Any risk in this?

Lol. I don't see why not if it gives you a reservation # and you use the same contract ID and coupons.
