Budget Travel - Sao Paulo Hotels

Everytime I see a discussion of Sao Paulo Hotels, it is concerning the very high end, designer type hotels. I am looking for a good budget hotel in the Jardins, Paulista area. Any suggestions?

December '08 my granddaughter and I stayed 5 nights each at the two below. Found an Orbitz 30% off that worked and brought both down to my budget. You might look in the general Hotels area for coupons and codes. Both hotels were very workable. People were very nice to us, and helpful. Great breakfasts. The Estanplaza perhaps our favorite. Both had kitchens. Try kayak, and various other general sites. I seem to remember one that specialized in South American hotels that got close to my 30% off deal.
