SAS EuroBonus - Timing of release of reward seats on SK

I am looking to redeem 2 reward seats on SK with my AC points but there is no seat available even on the first day that I've been able to check (i.e., 330 days out).

Do anyone know the practice of SK that some reward seats may be released later?

My itinerary involves a transatlantic portion from North America to Europe. I am "sort of" in a "catch-22" situation because I need to book very early for the transatlantic portion as seats usually go very fast yet my intra-Europe portion is unavailable. AC's programme is quite restrictive of subsequent changes.

Thanks.

Award seats on SAS are released between 330 and 329 days before departure, but of course award seats are not available on all flights...

It's KKN-OSL-LHR.

I am contemplating a Hurtigruten northbound cruise that sails from BGO to KKN.

I shall be travelling from North America and shall want to use a *A redemption to fly:

North America-FRA-BGO (Open Jaw) KKN-OSL-LHR (Stopover) LHR-North America.

I can redeem on LH to fly to FRA to connect to BGO. This is more convenient itinerary in my case than using SK but the KKN-OSL-LHR availability is the issue and in particular, the KKN-OSL segment.

At OSL, I can fly LH to LHR via FRA if SK is unavailable. The alternative appears to be buying a single ticket from KKN to OSL on SK thence either SK or LH to LHR.

If reward seat is unavailable on day 1 (T-330 days), I am just wondering if SK may release some additional seats later based on its past practice.

Yes, X, P and I inventory as well as discounted pay-for classes such as T, B and Z will typically open up (and zero out) at later dates, especially on long hauls. For european legs you shouldn´t have an issue as SK award availability is now great, especially in booking class P. Is that class (Economy Extra) possible to book with your program?

No, unfortunately that option is unavailable. I am with AC Aeroplan and is either business or economy. The class "in between" (aka premium economy) cannot be booked!
