Are you talking about a card that was actually stolen and reported or a card whose number was stolen? If the card was actually stolen and it was immediately reported, the card issuer should immediately close the card and credit any charges that are fraudulent (except for possibly $50). If this is what happened and you did pay the undisputed charges then there is nothing negative for the credit card company to report. If it was just the number that was stolen (and you still had the card) I assume that you immediately disputed the fraudulent charges. If you did, the CC company should also credit the disputed charges. Again, nothing negative for the CC company to report. Bottom line, if you reported the stolen card then you should not have anything negative on your report. |
