Qatar Airways Privilege Club - Will QR become partners with CO?

Since they seem to make partnerships with Star members, I was just curious, I hope they do and add an EWR flight.

There are still many *A members that they aren't partners with yet.. namely SQ, AC, SA for example.

I was actually meaning US based star members.
