I notice that with the exception of NRT and KIX, UA have removed all cheap fares to the other asian cities ex-SFO. Only H fares and above seem to be available on these sites.

United appears to be concentrating more and more of their lowest fares on united.com, especially the international fares, both the asia and europe, and not making the available either through web agents or phone agents. And that makes using the bump vouchers very very difficult!

At least for SFO-SIN, I was told by a UA res agent that the UAL.COM fares are often lower than what you can find elsewhere including United's own 800 reservation number. He believed it was because UA put their consolidator fares (usually used in conjunction with United Vacations) on UAL.COM.
My particular situation is that I want to use the value of a couple of old tickets Mrs. Unagi1 and I have against a new SIN booking (tix worth about $450 ea). I have no way to do that with a web booking. A couple of weeks ago, SIN fares ex-SFO were about $590 on Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz, etc. presumably similar to or the same as what a res agent could give me. Now, the cheapest ticket looks like it is about $817 all in, not going thru united.com.
