Effective May 4, 2008, pets will also be accepted for travel on Air Canada’s domestic flights in addition to flights to and from U.S. and international destinations. Your pet will travel in a temperature controlled and ventilated baggage compartment on the same flight as you do when pre-registered with www.aircanada.com within 24 hours of booking travel. All pet travel is subject to peak summer and Christmas holiday embargo dates, as well as other seasonal restrictions, and the number of animals accepted may be limited by aircraft type. Be sure to check specific government regulations of any countries you are travelling to with your pet. Learn more about pet travel, including fees.
