I need to start taking suits/sports jackets on the road with me. My current carry-on (21x13.5x9) doesn't come with a suiter. Any suggestions on one I can buy separately that will fit in my case and keep my suits wrinkle free? Thanks.

I'm not sure of any separate suiters that you can purchase, however both Tumi and Briggs & Riley make some sweet carry-on vertical garment bags. I got the Tumi one at a pretty good discount, otherwise I would have purchased the B&R. If you're willing to purchase a new bag, these are some good options. Otherwise, check out eBags or something like that.
I travel with 2 suits, dress shoes, workout clothes & 2 casual shirts for my 2-3 day biz trips. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to best keep my suits from wrinkling in a 22" carryon. I don't think its possible. I now always check my TravelPro suiter. Someone once recommended that I leave them in the plastic drycleaning bags, but I never really tried that. Apparently, it helps keep them wrinkle free.
If you figure out a good packing method, post here...its the one thing I hate about biz travel is getting the 2 suits into a carryon...just doesn't work!

Definitely do try leaving things in the dry cleaning plastic wrap, it does help. If you are serious about wanting to carryon 2 suits, try one of the suitcases I recommended above. Sure, you can probably get by folding them neatly, but having a garment bag makes things tremendously easier.

First choice is to use garment bag furnished when suit was purchased. Second choice is to grab a bag from a department store that sells suits. Third choice is the Hartman tweed that has been used about eight times during the past twenty years. Always hang em in closet on plane.

Eagle Creek has one for $35 that you can buy at ebags. I think you can get free shipping and $5 off.

I have the previous generation of the B&R U475 linked to above. It carries the equivalent of two suits well. It is a quite nice bag. I dont normally travel with suits though, and I have more and more been trying to get away from wheeled carryons and go lighter. So Im on a trip now with the B&R 235X which is a carryon, no wheels suiter. I put one suit and ties (in plastic cleaner bag) in the folding suit compartment, the rest of my clothes (pants, three shirts, underwear and socks) in the middle compartment in an Eagle Creek folder along with power cords and stuff and my briefcase in the back compartment, with the expansion zipper open. And yes, the entire briefcase with computer in it (MacBook Air). It was a bit on the heavy side, but manageable. It would probable work better with the briefcase separate but I wanted to try it all in one bag. The suit looked like it was in pretty good shape when it came out.

CNN Travel recently showed an interesting way to fold your suits in your carry on.
