My schedule has become very tight this fall and I have been flying less. Including the rest of the travel I will make by Dec 31 I will fall between 6-9k miles short of re-qualifying for DL Gold. I found a MR, CLT-ATL-LAX-ANC-SEA-ATL-CLT, which will give me 8922 EQMs for $420 a/i. Is that too expensive, are there any better options to quickly get the EQMs? This would be perfect if I need less than 9,000 however if I need over 9k (one prediction says I need 9,441) then I would still need another run. Thanks! :)

Can you afford this? If yes, it's good.

Delta has recently released very cheap fares to HNL. From DCA, I could have had a quick MR via ATL for about $315. I'm not sure if you can get something similar, but it's worth looking at it as an option.

I looked, unless I am doing something wrong I think the fare was pulled. The lowest is $590++ on Alaska Air
