Any thoughts? Have maxed out my Delta Platinum AMEX miles but will still be 12k short of 75k to requalify for Plat for 2008. I have a ton of free time in December and can use any SF area airport.

One thing that comes to mind is to be on the lookout for a cheap flight to Europe - that should net you 13K miles.

You can do the SJC-IAH-PBI run on CO ($140 a/i) three times. Other good fares are SJC-IAH-BOS on CO and the HNL fare offered above.

True...I'm not finding much I like out there. I'll keep my eyes peeled as I'd certainly prefer one trip to Europe rather than 3 domestics. Ideally, it would be M class or above on Delta so I could use SWU's or maybe a BF sale on Continental.
Check some flights from SFO or SJC to PVD going through JFK. Its about 6100 round trip since you get 500eqm from jfk to pvd even though its a really short flight, and they've had some cheapo prices out of pvd lately.
