Hello MR Gurus!
I live in the DFW area which is AA's hub.
I have already done 55K miles this year. Is there any way/possibility I can make another cost effective 45K miles this year before end of December to get to EXP level?
I am an existing EXP status.
Please advise.
Thanks!

Sure, it can be done. There are several factors that will affect your ability to make it happen, including how much you're willing to spend, how much free time you have, what days you can travel, if your passport is current, etc. Give us a little bit more info and I'm sure someone can help you out!
By the way, if it were me, I'd get started with 4 roundtrips to the West Coast to take advantage of the AA25X promotion mentioned on aa.com..... :D

Thanks DFWFlyer2!
I can travel on the weekends and return on Mondays. Sometimes on a weekday, I can also travel late evening and return early morning.
Some 14-day advance tkt options on DFW-SEA-DFW sector yield 3318 miles for $248.80 total ($228+$20.80 tax). Its 7.5 cents/mile!
DFW (7:40PM) - SEA (9:40PM)
SEA (12:27 AM - DFW (06:05AM)
My passport is current. Budget is max 5 cents per mile.
I had already registered for the AA25X promo, but unfortunately these bonus miles do not count towards elite status qualification!

Nobody ever said an MR from DFW on AA was easy! Under 5 cents per mile, you will most likely have to go International. London is no longer usually cost-effective for a MR due to the additional taxes. Most recently I've found FRA to be a little more reasonable, although right now you're still looking at around $600ai. I flew there in Feb for $400ai, and went last year for T'giving for $526ai, but it was routed through SFO, so both of those trips were at 4 cents per mile. Also, from what I understand, you can add the DB train trip legs onto a FRA ticket at little to no additional cost, and it's 500 more miles each way, although I've never done this myself.
SJU has been really reasonable lately too, just a little over 5 cents per miles, although I'd be tempted to stay there a few days....
Also, make sure you're not looking at SEA for that AA25X promo. The only cities eligible from DFW are SFO, OAK, SJC, and PDX. Not so great for EQM's, especially with the current prices, but the RDM deal is great.

Also, set your aa.com netsaver to DFW-GRU and DFW-EZE for some quick hitting South America runs (if your passport has a Brazilian Visa GRU is practical, no visa, just try EZE).
Also, there have been some great prices floating lately on Turks and Caicos new direct (Providencales I think). Its 2400 BIS miles each way I think, and were at some great dollars last week.
Good luck!
