I am really new to this, as you can see! I am needing 15000 MQM to reach DL Gold. I am interested in doing some MRs as the 100% bonus could really add up with my schedule for next year. I see CLT-SLC-LAS-SLC-CLT for only $217 AI, with is around 4500 MQM. I will also be in LAX in Nov, and have a day to do an HNL run for $275 AI, for around 5900 MQM. Two of the Vegas runs and the one HNL run would give me the miles needed, and they are all same day turns. Is this a good MR? It would be about $700 for the 15000 MQM needed. Go for it, $217 for 4454 sounds like a respectable deal to me even if you have to do it two or three times. Simply put, if you spend an extra $700 you will get at least 37,500 more RDMs next year if you fly 50k which means a free ticket to Hawaii for the better half plus free drinks while travelling internationally for you. One other thing I would suggest you check on before signing up for these MRs are Delta flight to DUB or FRA cause you might be able to qualify for gold at a similar price and only waste one weekend.

Thanks. I didn't even think of heading east. I do see some decent fares to FRA...Anyone have trouble with MR's to Europe? I.E. customs? Do they give you a hard time for only being in Europe for several hours? Do you go through Customs in Europe, to get your passport stamped, or just stay in the terminal and avoid customs?
