OK here's a complex issue (for me).
- I'm planning to go overseas next month.
- I have to take more than one carrier - my home airport and destination are not served by the same airline
- My preferred option is on UA and SAS
- If I book through united.com, fare class "S" comes up for all flights, which is 100% mile credit to US
- The TA sectors are operated by SAS with UA codeshare #
- Fare class "S" is creditable on SAS, but is it possible that the "S" fare on UA is something else on SAS (i.e. I'm not sure if the "actual" fare class on SAS is "S" - it's "S" on the UA codeshare, and some fares such as "W" only get 25% miles)
Any idea if I'll get 100% miles credited to US?
