OK, so this will be my first MR - I'm going for segments. I need to travel from BOS to BNA on 7 November, returning on 11 November. I have a fare my company can live with, but I need to extend one or two more segments each way. How do I see where else I can connect through to add the segments I will need (need 8 segments, not just 4 for 2 hops out & back)?

I appreciate any guidance/expertise you all might have.

I'm very new myself at MRs, so I'm sure others will have better suggestions, but I would use the ITA tool (http://matrix.itasoftware.com/cvg/dispatch/). You didn't say which airline you want to use, but if you wanted to get 3 segments each way on United Airlines, you would enter the following:

from BOS::UA UA UA
to BNA::UA UA UA

plus your required travel dates.

I know ITA has amazing capabilities, but I haven't figured them out yet.
