I can't remember if it is possible to choose exit row seats using AY's OLCI. Mainly been travelling at the other side of the curtain ;) There is a thread with some remarks here http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showpost.php?p=8088892&postcount=9

But that does contain the view that you can, which is then contested. Anyone actually done this before?

BTW: this is for a HEL-LHR flight operated by an A321.

Hi, Sometimes it is possible but most of the time not, I have no idea why unfortunately.

I have been able to pre-assign these by calling up before (A320 exit window, row HEL-LHR earlier this year.

I'll give them a call tomorrow. On the other hand I may try OLCI Monday evening, as the flight is on Wednesday, and then call them if it doesn't work.

This is very strange information...I've been fighting about this particular issue with AY for years w/o any luck??

OLCI'd yesterday evening (with BN 001 :) ) but the exit row seats appear blocked :td:

I've fired off an email to Finnair suggesting that they should allow exit row seat selecting during OLCI. Let's see what the response is.
