I have credited Finncomm airlines flights to AYPlus in the past. I know that gives base points. But do FC flights give base points or even extra points in any other 1W program?

Another question about AY Silver status and lounge access. If I have AY Silver status and fly ARN-LHR or HEL-LHR on BA metal (AY codeshare): will I get lounge access if a) ticket has BA flight number b) ticket has AY flight number?

One more: I know I get lounge access with BA Silver everytime I fly an 1W airline. What if I fly FC? Will I get lounge access at HEL?

To get the points from Finncomm flights to programs other than Finnair Plus, just book the flights from AY-quota and have the AY-flight number in the ticket. Same applies to AERO-flights.

AY silvers (OW ruby) flying in coach class in general do not have the access OW lounges. They may have lounge access at some airports AY operates. One just has to fly AY metal with AY (only) ticket. Like in Heathrow T1, the silvers can access the Servisair lounge but not the BA lounges. To the last question, it may indeed depend on which flight number FC or AY stands in your ticket. But since FC and AY are so closely related, I think, the lounge dragons would let you through in both cases.

Yes, this should usually work. Just keep in mind that not all FC flights carry an AY codeshare, just the more popular destinations/times.

I am an AY silver and last time I flew from HEL with AY metal and BA flight code, I specifically asked at check-in if I could use the lounge and the lady browsed her documents for a while and told me to go in the non-Schengen lounge.

Works that way but not the return. AY pampers their silvers at HEL (and probably also at ARN).

Only regularly scheduled Finnair flights (flight series AY001-AY1000, AY3000-AY7000) are eligible for mileage accrual.
I am planning to fly HEL-TLL (Finncomm except for one flight a day), and the AY codeshares are AY 8xxx.
