Last time I was on the phone with the Plus service centre, they mentioned in passing that the rules on getting points from BA franchise partners had changed in April. She suggested that my BA flight (BA ticket), operated by GB Airways MLA - MAN would not accumulate points. This was new to me and in the hassle of dealing with several issues failed to query this in more detail.

I couldn't find anything on the AY website about this - has anyone heard of a change? Are you getting GB Airways/Sun-Air flights credited post April?

Another question then altogether - what happens to FlyBe flights where you have bought a BA ticket...

Hoping this is general knowledge and I have just not done my homework properly...

All I can find is the following note in Finnish:

*************************************
British Airways: Finnair Plus -pisteitä ei myönnetä
Flybe-yhtiön liikennöimiltä lennoilta.
*************************************

So no AY points from Flybe flights.

How is it by the way, if I fly EI metal, but the flight has BA code, do I get the points? Earlier this was straightforward as EI was a part of oneworld, but what about now?

Or what about Dragonair metal with CX flight code?

At least earlier Finnair has always been generous. It has always been the code and not the metal which determines if a flight is qualifying. No matter which metal if the code belongs to any Finnair partners (not just oneworld). Not sure if that has changed but there is no indication for that either.

I was too lazy to search the Finnish language version, but should have known that it might be more comprehensive when it comes to details

Thanks - very useful to know. Perhaps AY lady got her FlyBe and GB Airways confused.
