Heavy storms moving into NYC metro area right now. Looks like it's setting up to be a classic Friday nightmare for air travel at EWR, LGA, JFK:(

The ONLY times I have had luck getting out of NYC close to on-time was when I've taken morning to early afternoon flights.

Have a friend sitting in the penalty box at ORD, watching Spiderman 3, waiting for the LGA groundstop to be lifted.

I never ended up leaving LGA today.. I was booked on 847 LGA-IAD-EZE sadly with the LGA-IAD leg being delayed almost 3hrs it would have misconnected me in IAD so instead I choose to head home for the night.
cheers!

Yeah, did you hear the guy shouting, "he doesn't deserve his ticket!!!" like several times at LGA? That was pretty random.

Anyway, the UA flight was somewhat quite odd, with the FAs telling us to lock the overhead compartments so we could go faster. What's worse was their obnoxious announcement about how the "sound" doesn't mean we could unfasten our seat belts (yeah we could see the sign is still on). They treat us like little children sometimes.
