I'm thinking of taking the SVO-HEL AY6843 SU-operated codeshare to connect to my HEL-JFK leg, and wanted to know what sort of baggage allowance will be applicable. Will it be a piece system, or by kilos, and would it be the stingy SU allowance or what OW-emerald status and a J-class AY booking would allow?

Also, anyone know if this flight will earn me BA tierpoints and miles?

If you are connecting to JFK the piece concept should apply from SVO. But better safe than sorry, so you might want to call AY Moscow +7 495 933 0056. Otherwise, it would be 30kg on the SVO-HEL leg in J, only AY elites get a 40kg limit.
