Saw on AY's home page that the traditional Finnair HEL-JFK business class crayfish parties will start again and go on for two weeks. Has anyone experienced these? Are the FAs leading the snaps singing :D

Swedish speaking Finns do both snaps & singing, Finnish speakers skip the singing part... ;)
Crayfish (small lake crab) are delicious, but quite messy eating if they are served with their shells, hardly in AY biz class?

Thankfully Tabasco makes those handy mini-bottles, that are just perfect for airplane use. The Significant Otter will be extremely excited to learn that there's an airline out there serving craw-critters. Too bad it's in OneWorld (the one alliance we don't regularly use).

I also remember having some sort of crayfish stuff in intra-Europe J some time back, also in early autumn, with ice cold "Koskenkorva" handed out and all...it wasn't that bad either but the portion was of course very small.
