First - sorry if this has been covered. Couldn't find it in a search.

Second - with the new config in F on an A321 - what are the best seats (party of 2). I checked seatguru but it still shows the larger cabin.

I booked 3AC for an upcoming flight CLT SFO ... what do you think?

i did 3A on SFO-CLT and it was just fine for me....all the pitch in first is reduced so no matter where you sit, you will have a seat in your lap.....

22DEF are the best coach seats, IMO. They are exit rows with great pitch.

In F, anything but row 4.

IMHO, if I am getting a free UG, I'll take any F seat! I am not terribly picky. That said, however, I usually prefer a window seat, but I have no row preference.

Row 4 has limited pitch and recline, as it is against the bulkhead separating F and coach.

The pitch is really annoying in F these days. If you're interested in doing work on a computer, I'd recommend trying to get row 1 - in my experience, you'll find that if the seat in front of you reclines, you'll be unable to use your computer effectively.

I think flying another airline makes more sense.

CO through IAH or EWR....or UA through ORD...NW through DTW.....

US F-Class is a "pretend" or a "faux" First Class. It's a joke.

If you are upgraded and riding there for the doughnut, it's acceptable...but if you are paying for it, you'll wanna take a swing at someone in the Sand Castle after you land in SFO.

Dont know if we asked he asked which carrier to fly or not, but I think he said he booked a US flight to SFO. So unless be wants to pay and cancel I think another airline in irrelevant.

But to answer the ? Row 1 DF are the best seats in F. About an inch more room that the AC side. And all the other rows are the same. Row 4 did not seem to recline less then any of the others but did have less leg room than the others...

It is nice in the back section of F if you are planning to sleep. Quite dark with the windows shut and the wall behind you.

I just did CLT-SEA and SEA-CLT all in row 3 (3F going and 3A coming back). This seems to be a good row - I would probably go for row 2 or 3 if at all possible (to avoid row 1 & 4).

I just did the SFO-CLT red-eye in 4A, and it was better than I was expecting, but this new configuration sucks. Limited recline, limited pitch, and a portly man in the 4C make for a pretty sh*tty red-eye if you drink anything more than a cup of water. Doing the over-the-fat-guy-dance is awful in the middle of the night. If I were you, I'd want nothing other than 1DF. Nobody to slam their seat in your face, and you can get up and pee without bothering your neighbor (as much).
