I have a jetblue flight coming up. I will be gone for 10 days. I wondering if it will be cheaper to get a park and stay package?? does anyone know of anyone good ones that they have used recently?? the ones i saw seemed to be pretty expensive long term parking looks cheaper from what i have seen. Any ideas for any JFK experts????

Not enough information here:
Where exactly is home for you that you'd be driving to JFK in the first place?
I realise public transporation isn't always convenient, but quite honestly the stress and torment of dealing with a car trip to JFK should make many people realize that the Long Island Railroad/AirTrain connection might make sense.

I know it may not be your first choice, but for a ten day trip LIRR/Airtrain is probably much cheaper then driving. I know it would be for me
10 day trip
NJTransit/LIRR/Airtrain
Parking at Metropark station ($5 a day at 10 days) $50.00
NJ Transit Metropark/New York Penn $13.75
LIRR NYP/Jamaica $14.00 (peak)
AirTrain $10.00
Total price $87.75
Driving to JFK
Extra gas from Metropark to JFK $10.00
Outerbridge Crossing toll (ez-pass) $ 5.00
Verrazano Bridge Toll (ez-pass) $ 8.00
Parking ($15 a day for 10 days) $ 150.00
Total Price $173.00
Total savings $85.25

This thread belongs in the Travel & Dining Destinations: New York City forum. Doesn't have anything to do with JetBlue even though you're flight plans do include B6. I'll be moving it over the other forum.

I use airpark at http://www.airparkparking.com/ when I park at JFK. It's not the least expensive, but their service is great.
If it's just one person for ten days, public transportation may be a better option if it's available. I'm 60 miles from Manhattan in Connecticut, and if I hit the trains right, I can train to Manhattan, then the subway connections then airtrain to the terminal in less time then driving would be.
Of course, if it's not a time when the trains are several times an hour, or it's crowded, it could be a much different story.
The Ramada does one night and 14 days parking for $229, and parking at Avistar or Air Park would run about $175 or so for 10 days (after coupons).
Parking at JFK would be $15 a day in the long term lots.

I will be coming from NJ. The worst part is the only station i will be near is a direct line to hoboken not NY penn. In reality the only option to get to Jfk would require two trains on nj transit to get me to NYP then LIRR then Airtran. I just dont think i can stand taking four seperate trains. Also i have a morning flight at 7 something so even if and i doubt it is possible i am not taking four train rides that early. Parking looks like my only option at this point

The Ramada and Holiday Inn are the only two park-sleep-fly options I know of currently:
