I'm new to FlyerTalk, but am curious if there has ever been mileage runs out of YYZ

For some interesting starters to whet your appetite anyway, though, you can check out some older runs out of YYZ, like the infamous Mexican Hat Dance (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=270710). It seems that airport improvement taxes are brutal in Canada, though, compared to in the US.

As for current ones, well, it's always good to keep on the lookout. Be proactive!

YYZ and Mileage Runs are a paradox. They almost never exist. Except now for Westjet's $59 special to Ottawa/Montreal, but with the diabolic taxes, DRIVE TO BUFFALO!!!!!! Or take a bus and save gas. It will save you a bundle!!!!

As this question comes up from time to time, yyz can be a wonderful place for mistake fares. Yyz is not a regular mr starting point. Please have a look at the stickies and plan to look for fares like buf-las for 138 usd + tax. Happy trails.

I seem to recall a certain $33++ business class fare from YYZ to LCA....
