View Full Version : Is there a website that lists the fares from that city as a destination, not origin.

Sounds dumb, here's what I mean.

Let's say I'm looking for tickets to go to Tokyo.

Is there a website that shows the prices of tickets from the US but using a city like Tokyo showing what the fares are going to it?

Sort of like... I enter NRT into the search, it says BWI $750, PHL $700, JFK $690 etc. etc. Instead of having to type in every city to see what fares to NRT are?

Sort of reverse of the current FareCompare-style where it shows all the fares in a region from an airport like PHL, but instead trying to search fares from a city to arrive there from a region, such as the US.

Ideas?

may sound stupid...but why not just put in NRT in Farecompare and see what comes up?

Generally that works for all U.S. cities since most domestic fares are filed bi-directionally. Unfortunately, it doesn't work this way for many international destinations.

There used to be a link for this using the Yahoo Best Fares page, but I think that's long gone by now. Sorry I can't be of more help.

SchmutzigMSP is largely right, that's not always 100% accurate. Usually overquotes the prices IMO.

That's very limited but that is the right idea. Thanks

Try this one:

http://www.skyscanner.net/

This is a great site for europe travel.

added : Honestly I did not realize this site will search a US city as the origin ;) Although I only see airlines like ATA and JetBlue show up for US domestic :(

The link to Yahoo still works with TO: searches, here is an example for BNA.

http://search.travel.yahoo.com/bin/search/bfsearch?z=1&intl=us&dc=BNA

This does not work for international though.

$300 from the ATL. Ouch. Guess I'm going to be driving this one.
