is this a reliable source to book a flight? i have been looking for the most inexpensive flight from green bay, wi to sydney, australia for mid october
(and would really like to fly either qantas or anz -- really want to avoid united!)

this site seemed to have the best rate i've found thus far. but i've never heard of the website and am nervous about booking. through searching quantas and anz own websites the fares are really expensive! and sites like expedia and travelocity are a bit more than the consolidator site. any advice?

also, anyone know if it's possible and how to go about getting extra baggage allowance? i am moving to australia and need to have the extra baggage. thanks in advance :)

I know you want to avoid UA but they offer the cheapest flights. Check out
cheapoair.com. Just checked and the flight ow was 869.00/UA There is a Q
flight connecting in LAX but that fare is over a grand. When we want cheap we
are often left with few choices.

I have no experience w/ this particular site, but a cautionary word in general: if you are quoted an attractive price on-line and then are instructed to telephone to "complete your booking," you will NOT get the indicated fare. Many (if not most) of these "consolidator" sites simply return the lowest published fare regardless of season. The price you are quoted on the phone is the regular, applicable published fare w/o any discount. And these guys are very good at high pressure sales tactics!
