Has anyone found a way to get competitively priced business class tickets from NA through Helsinki to Asia?
Finnair web site doesn't seem to offer pricing for JFK-HEL-PVG (or PEK, etc.) at all and when I called the pricing seemed to be JFK-HEL and HEL-PVG prices added together.
This would be an interesting routing for East Coast based Finn to take every now and then.

Not so interesting due the overnight Helsinki. Almost all Asian flights arrive in HEL about 2pm-3pm. AY5 HEL-JFK departs 2.15 pm.
Only Asian price they are offering from JFK is JFK-HEL-DEL.

I wouldn't mind the overnight lay-over as that would be a good excuse to meet some friends.
Any ideas on the JFK-DEL pricing in J?
According to Expertflyer (http://www.expertflyer.com), the cheapest round-trip biz fare for JFK-HEL-DEL is 3600$ (fare basis ISPCLUS).

And the cheapest published fare between JFK and NRT/PVG/PEK/HKG is $4900 according to same source. Also the same fare basis: ISPCLUS
Seems to be significantly cheaper than buying JFK-HEL and HEL-PEK (for example) as separate tickets.
Also seems to be cheaper than many other fares provided by AA, BA, SK, LH for example.

I see JFK-HEL-HKG-HEL-JFK prices at USD4909 + taxes in I-class, and it even allow stopovers in HEL both ways....... not a bad deal for some......
Whenever I called Finnair directly they quote something ridiculous. Any advice on how to book these? Or on fare rule?
Update: I called them again armed with the fare code and was able to get more information. No advance booking requirements -- JFK - HEL - HKG (with stopover on return) $52xx with taxes.

Any travel agency in the world can issue these tickets, there would need to be "I-class inventory" (for the US$4900 ++ fare) on the flights.
