Hi everyone. I will have 6 to 8 people with me and we will need a limo / van service from

1) LGA to Manhattan (Midtown) and then later from
2) Manhattan to Long Island and then
3) Long Island back to LGA

What is the best INEXPENSIVE, but RELIABLE service? I've read past threads and they talk about their regular sedan service. I would like info about the stretch limos and van/shuttle service. Thanks in advance!

Do a search for "car service" or "limo" and you'll find all kinds of threads discussing who is the best, cheapest, worst, most expensive, etc.

Where on "Long Island" it is a very big place and possibly limo service isnt the best choice.

Oops, sorry. Not very familiar with NY. The area is Halesite. And we're spreading this out over the weekend...so one limo/van trip per day.

Right, I read all the posts about the sedan service, typically service for one person. But I was wondering if there are recs for larger parties...like which ones are better with larger groups.

Halesite is in Huntingon.. Up by the Long Island Sound. The choice is going to be either LIRR to Huntington then cabs up to Halesite not inexpensive. would need 2 cabs and it is about 15-20 per cab to Halesite, or limo service

You might want to try calling a Huntington based car service as they tend to be less expensive, more reliable and more familiar with Halesite than the NYC based operators. They also constantly take people in and out of city and to airports. I have used both Chichester Limo ( Huntington) www.chichesterlimo.com and Mayfair Limo on Larkfield Road E.Northport. www.mayfairlimo.com both have stretch limos and vans which would work. They have always been reliable.
