I went to a workshop at Adorama tonight featuring Eric Meola. It was sponsored by Canon. He showed a lot of his photos and commented about how many were made. He also discussed lots of tips about how to do photography while traveling as well as close to home. I dont know if he is doing these in other cities with Canon but if he is I really would encourage people to go. The best tip in my opinion was DO NOT use average white balance. I had not really thought about this since the camera defaults to this. Perhaps some of you who are more savvy with digital already knew it. The benefit of fixing white balance is that you can bulk adjust it. That would have saved me many hours. Live and learn ;) He is a hell of a photographer as well.
