I will have 3 separate Digicams and they will probably all come with different charger cords, is there such a thing as a universal charger cord, a charger cord that can be used with a variety of digital cameras?

you could use something like iGo chargers and buy the different tips
I just buy cheap wall chargers on ebay and connect them to a power strip.

Kensington's Anywhere adapters will let you charge multiple devices and just carry one power supply, changing the tips. Just make sure they have the tips for your cameras.

Thats what I used to do, but it was a huge hassle to carry around all those chargers for all my stuff in my carry on. That igo with the changable tips makes life a lot easier.

Kensington's are nice but expensive. Try the Igo.
Before you buy anything make sure it's compatible with your equipment.

As most charger bricks take figure 8 cable this is what I realised when on a trip I forgot the caböe for the camera bricks.
I'm a mac user and the interchangable wall plugs on the charger brick for the mac fits in the bricks for the cameras. This dawned onme whenI sat in the hotel panicking with flat battery on camcorder and getting flat on the slr. I take two plugs with me. One for the laptop and one for the camera/s and I'm all set. I've even started using the plags at home as well. Much less cable to trip over.
