Does anyone here know how to export images from lightroom to ipod?
I'm a mac user.

"I'm a Mac"
"I'm a PC"
(fortunately, LR is basically the same for the two)
I've never tried it, but here's what I'd do:
Select all of the images you want to export (put them in a Quick Collection if you want). Hit the Export button in the Library module. Export the images as JPEGs. Set the quality to around 60, the color profile to sRGB, set the "constrain maximum size option" to something reasonable (800x600?), and check "minimize embedded data". Export them all to some new file folder.
Then, go into iTunes and import that new folder.

Dude!
Thanks!
I think my brain is still on my pillow.

I haven't tried it either, but the above approach certainly is how I would do it. You could probably get by with a smaller size to save some space - check for the ipod's native resolution and start there (320x240 iirc)

I just did a little sleuthing and came across some info. iTunes converts your pictures into several sizes, all of which are loaded onto the iPod for various display functions. The screen resolution is 320x240 like CPRich said, but it also stores a 720x480 image for display on a TV. If you know you'll only view on the iPod, then 320x would be ok, although it'll still try and make TV-sized images.

In the Export Dialogue ... set the target resolution for an iPod (eg 320 by 240)... and Lightroom will scale them appropriately
Good luck!
