I decided today that I should convert all my MiniDV video from tape to disk.

One of these tape contains screen-shots of 16mm (silent) home movies, with narration provided by my mother during the film to video process.

The whole conversion process was hurried and not well thought out. As it turns out, several of the 8 minute film reels were wound wrong side out on their spool, so the projection was in proper time order, but the images were flipped right to left.

So... the handwritten titles (held up on paper) are all backwards.

Is there any reasonable way to digitally flip them back in software?
