I've seen several mentions of dpreview and thought I'd post this...

I'm happy for Phil and hopeful that Amazon is wise enough to not fiddle with the recipe that made dpreview so successful in the first place.

Unless fiddling includes replacing the software that runs the forums. You can't adjust the font size, the color scheme isn't that easy to read, you can't edit posts, etc. That's my least favorite thing about DPR.

If the Amazon takeover of IMDB is anything to go by, they'll be very light handed. At a time when every man and his dog is into photography, this is a useful acquisition.
