Why is it I know of not one but TWO 24-hr locations in SF, but none in the greater LA area?

-Another one south of the 101 somewhere (the one at 9th & Howard, I think).

There is indeed a 24-hr Starbucks at 9th and Howard in San Fran. It's in a gas station complex along with a BK, though the BK is not open 24/7.

I wasn't aware that the one at Powell and O'Farrell was a 24/7 shop. Good to know.

A number of the Starbucks Stores with drive through windows are going 24hr - anything near the LAX airport with a DT window might be one. Alternatively try the www.starbucks.com website to see if they list stores with 24hr access.

Ya know?! I do a fair amount of work in SB (thanks to the T-Mobile HotSpots in nearly every one) and there's times I'm on a roll when they're turning the lights off. Not to mention that 'cause of my crazy hours sometimes I get up at O'Dark :30 and if I go into my (home) office I'll put on the TiVo instead of working undistracted and wouldn't mind going to a place I could get some coffee instead of to a FedEx Kinko's.
