View Full Version : 5 segment search -- what tool?

(Confession: this isn't really an MR, it's a real trip.)

I'm planning an actual trip, SAN-BOS-WAS-BDL-YYZ-SAN, and because my dates (and in some cases times) are specific, I have to pick and choose pretty carefully to balance fare, schedule, etc.

ITA is my usual planning tool, and I would swear ITA used to let me do more than four segments -- but suddenly the "add segment" button now disappears after four! Is there a tricky way to specify additional segments?

Kayak/FareCompare offers up to six segments, but I know (i.e. can demonstrate) that there are combinations it's not offering me that would be better; AA.com only allows entry of 4 segments; Expedia allows more segments, but the build-it-yourself process doesn't provide any fare feedback until the end.

Can I get ITA to do this (preferred) or is there some other place I can go to manage the individual flights and the price at the same time?

Thanks.

Orbitz will let you do this, and will show prices as you go.

If you are interested in checking fare bucket availability quickly on a multi-city routing, we also have put up: http://flyaow.com/classbellmulti.htm

Cheers!
