Anyone looked at the loads? They seem quite bump-probable on most hub-hub routings..

Can we call them "Bump-elicious" ?
seriously though, the loads do look pretty high, most of next week.

I was bumped on a flight last week. IME bumping seems to occur when you are least expecting to be bumped. In this case, the morning flight was cancelled netting me $300:D

I am flying DL this Sunday SEA-SLC-BOI-SLC-SEA, for $98. Just checked with DL, and they said at least one of my flights is heavily oversold with more than 10 people without seat assignments. I am crossing my fingers...

I looked at Houston mileage run this weekend and discovered everything was not just unavailable in the fare class, it was zero-ed out most of Sunday. My mileage run now will be on the New York City subway to Brunch.
Last March the loads on Saturday and Sunday through March were just unreal. Everything was zero-ed out. I had a flight out of Florida for work on a Sunday afternoon that I was sure was going to be "bump-elicious," and myself and a college athlete (stranger) tried, turned out the flight was over by only TWO (it was zero-ed out all week) and there were 4 no-shows. Other times the agents say, "no we're going to be fine," and if you sit close by you hear an unexpected, "Brenda, we've *already* checked-in OVER," and that is the queue to politely ask whether they may need your seat.
Problem with being gainfully employed is that there have been many a begging agent I've had to say no to (most painful experience). WHY do we have to work for a living? :p

I am flying over the weekend to MSP out of IAH, but not sure I can take a bump at all - the seat numbers look to be zeroed out across the board; repositioning for a MSP-LGW and would be bad to not be able to make the trip the next day..

Got bumped Friday night for $300 in DFW (AA DFW-SFO), and the hotel shuttle driver said he was driving lots of bump-people.
Spring Break just started in Dallas this weekend.
The AA rep said this weekend (3/9-3/11) and next (3/16-3/18) are very busy in Dallas.
My Sat morning DFW-CLE flight was full with 15 standbys, but wasn't oversold. Darn.
(Coming from Europe however, Fri's LGW-DFW was 40% empty, tons of rows available in coach. 10-15 pairs of seats on the sides were completely empty).

How did a cancelled flight get you a bump voucher?
