We will be arriving on December 31 from SFO for a brief stay at the Four Seasons before leaving for Patagonia (we come back in 10 days for a longer stay in BA). The timing is not intentional, but is when I could get flights.

Any advice about NYE here? We are not big NYE revelers and often have a nice dinner but don't necessarily make it for the midnight hour. Do we need to worry about restaurant reservations if we want to eat at some time closer 9 pm rather than the usual dining time in BA? Any suggestions for someplace near the FS or easy to cab to?

Thanks and Happy New Year to all.

The Four Seasons hotel is hosting one of towns best NYE parties.... but, I understand they are booked solid. For a gala type experience, I think that the Alvear Palace still has a few seats left, and they also throw an excellent NY's party.

Since you are going to stay at the FS, I suggest you put their excellent concierge desk (its hands down the best group of concierges in town) to work.... tell them what you are looking for and if something can be done, they will take care of it. Try to speak to Yael if she's on duty.
