Does anyone know if there are any hotels very close to Dubai airport (besides the expensive hotel inside the airport)? We have a stop over in Dubai, arriving at 1230 one day and departing at 0800 the following morning. We have heard that the traffic is very bad in Dubai at the moment and so it may be a hassle to get to the airport in the morning if we stayed in town. If we could base ourselves very close to the airport it would make life easier. The airport hotel looks good, but it's pricey and since we'll be on our way home from our holiday we probably won't have money left for luxuries by then!
