Swissotel The Stamford is builded right above the Mass rapid Trasit(MRT). The hotel is 72 storey high and is the tallest hotel building in Singapore. It has different Views. The City View or the Harbour View.

I have Stayed @ this hotel twice and always at the same room but different floors. The room i had booed was the Grand Room. Basically it is 1.5 times the size of a normal Deluxe room. The best thingy above this room is that it has two huge balconies. The latest i stayed was on the 53rd floor and the view was absoulutly stunning. Especially in the night, with all the bright lights from the city/harbour view of Singapore.

GRAND ROOM

Ok. The Grand room like i said is huge. The toilet is a normal size kind with a bathtub/showerhead. It has those normal basic toiletries amenities. Now for the Room, to me it looks abit tired. Maybe due to the decor. Like the carpetting. It is in blue colour but like a dead blue. It has stains and dust. The Wardrode is nice and neat. Huge space to put lots of clothes. Good for women travellers. It has a safe, Ironing Board, etc. The Side table and chair is ok.

There is a mini living room. it has 3 seat sofa and two sofas. The material feels abit weird but its huge and comfortable though. The Tv is a CRT 21" TV and it is place atop of a walnut brown shelve. It has lots of drawers to put watever you want to keep. Now for the most important thing of the hotel room.

The Bed! It is covered with a grey bedsheet thick and comfortable. The Pillows are soft and big. The comfort of the bed is really very good. It is like you are in heaven. It has two side tables with lamps. Thw whole rooms is controlled with those I.T switches*the one that is place next to the bed that can also be used to control the temperature of the room*

The Lighting of the room is kinda bad especially the mini-living room. I think it needs a much bigger lamp or something.Other than that i think thats about it well i hope this review is helpful to those who is visiting Singapore and i was you guys a great Trip. God Bless!

Hi Joh, and thank you for the excellent report. I have not stayed overnight at the hotel you highlighted but did visit the bar at the ~ top of the structure and I agree, the view is stunning. We had a window seat and saw the sunset on a clear day...breathtaking.
