I have a couple thousand miles earned in Aug-Oct 05 on HP (ORD-PHX-OAK)x2, but I never ever got anything validating them as showing up as a new DM account. My current DM account is bankrupt from a magazine buy (and focusing miles into UA MP), so I don't care if they "merged", just that I have an account with those missing miles anyhow to do something with....

Perhaps your problem is that you have not merged accounts?

to my surprise, I was able to log in on USairways.com with my AW account number. I applied for a merge, but as long as the AW number works, I'm good. Thanks.
