I have 15,500 Mileage Bank (Oceania) points in my JAL account set to expire on 31 December 2001. Can anyone think of something I can do with these (remembering I am located near Sydney, Australia)? I had been thinking of a Swissair intra-europe flight in conjunction with a planned trip to Turkey in December but the trip is currently off and swissair doesn't strike me as a good bet.

Can anyone suggest something I can do with these points? I can't stand having miles expire.

I'm in the same situation, but in the US. I have found that there are a number of 1 night hotel awards at the 15000 level, so I am looking into those. There are a couple here in the US that I can take advantage of.
