View Full Version : How to Contact LCC Management?

Can someone please either post or PM me information on how to contact a few senior managers for this airline? Contacting DL management is pointless because they are already opposed to this merger.

I would like to inform LCC (US Airways, sorry I'm a stock/financial guy so I use tickers) management that as a young, very loyal Delta Platinum they should discount my lifetime expected revenue (and subsequent marginal cash flow) from their synergy analysis, as I will be requesting an immediate comp to Continental. The NPV of my revenue to Delta is about $200,000 in today's dollars, so I want to let them know they should certainly count on losing it. I know a TON of Platinums on the Delta chat board who feel the same way.

Delta and its management currently are heading in a very different direction service-wise from the LCC model. For example, video on huge numbers of planes, enhancements to free snacks and food in first class, flat bed seats on new 777-200 LR aircraft... to name a few. I live in NYC and have plenty of airline choices, and "the new Delta" -- if it is created -- will not be one of them.

I know there are a lot of good financial reasons why there should be consolidation -- but I just happen to REALLY dislike this particular combination.

You'd be better off writing to DL's creditors. Ball's in their court.

US management has a mixed record at best of responding to feedback, and it's fairly inconceivable that they would rescind their merger offer because of customer feedback. Still, if you want to vent, US published this email address in their letter to employees (http://www.usairways.com/awa/content/operations/merger/employees/default.aspx): merger@usairways.com.

I found it interesting that US is including additional corporate contracts as part of the merger synergies. Parker has eliminated many longstanding US East corporate pacts (likely because they were not economical, but we don't know for certain), thereby running off a fair number of CPs and golds in the process. I suppose he figures the sheer scale of US/DL will compel east-coast firms to enter new, more economical contracts, simply because of a dearth of competition.
For instance, I'd estimate that 60% of my company's travel is done on US, with 25% on Delta, 10% on United and the remaining 5% on other carriers; American, Northwest and Continental simply don't offer the routes/frequencies we require. Unless new alternatives enter the market, the Sand Castle will have us by the b&#ls.

Wall Street has been salivating over this. Which is exactly why this deal has a good chance not definite but not out of the realm of possibility.

I've survived on the east coast by seeing an awful lot of UA via IAD. It's not the end of the world.

Save your dime. The merger makes no sense whatsover. Besides, the government will not approve it.

NWA or United makes infinite more sense.

Sounds like lots of fat to be cut.
