JAL's new investment in aircraft refurbishments will include introduction of upgraded full-flat sleeper seats in entirely new designs in first class as well as 60-inch
pitch business class (SEASONS)on select major long haul routes. JAL has always introduced new services with their flights linking NRT with JFK and LHR first.

Another surprise? news include the introduction of sleeper seats in business class starting next summer on JFK and LHR fights. The seats are to recline up to 170 degrees.

What with BA's new business class on LHR route as well as upgraded and repitched business class offered by CO, DL and UA on the lucrative NRT-NYC routes, it seems inevitable JAL had to move on to catch up with them! Good news indeed. Now only if they would join One World Alliance!

My last wish http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif is to see JL and SR join oneworld so that I can issue a multicarrier award in F with JL, SR, CX and BA!
