Is JAL's business class on intra-Asia flights, specifically the NRT/BKK flight, the same as their business class between Japan and the US?
If not, what are the differences -- seat, entertainment, food...
Thanks.

I have not flown JAL on intra Asian flights but from what I have read they are not as well equipped as on trans oceanic flights. Food choices are not as wide as on long haul flights etc...

I flew JAL recently between Tokyo and Shanghai which is about a 2.5 hour flight. The service was fine as was the seating. In-seat video was installed and there was just time to see one film.
I would have been quite happy if the flight had been longer. No problems.

Just avoid any DC-10 operated flights in Asia by JAL. They shamelessly continue to offer the aging fleet service with a substandard business class service.
However, on NRT-SIN run, JAL operates 747/743. Even though the flight is offered in C/Y only. Most often, the quipment is a three-class configuration so if you are
lucky or if your travel agent can arrange so,
do try the front seat section seat. You will
be offered sleeper seats.

Specifically, I"ll be on the JALWays NRT/BKK flight. I'll be in C on a two-class (C/Y) plane.
Anyone flown this?

I did in February last year, I think it was. Attendants were Thai, except one chief perser, who was Japanese. Japanese food was good. But their business class seat doesn't recline much, which is the reason I tend to avoid both JL and NH.
2 Many Miles: I'll be on that flight on Monday, February 19. When are you?
