Any ideas for websites for the best flight prices ex-UK to go to MIA or FLL on Xmas Day or just after to stay for a week or thereabouts apart from using the airlines' own sites?

Opodo, Travelocity, Expedia and Ebookers are ones I can think of - any suggestions for others?

Kayak just launched beta site for the UK at www.kayak.co.uk

It's an aggregator search site but not a booking site, so you click through to the airline or booking site to actually make the purchase. It may not return anything cheaper, but it's definitely easier than searching all the airline and booking engine sites individually.

Just remember that there won't be public transport on Christmas Day.

The only exceptions I know of are the HEX, GEX & SEX - and in the case of the HEX it's a coach.

www.netflights.com the internet unit of Airline Network they also have the biggest range of flights/fares ex Manchester.

You may have problem getting seats returning 1-6 Jan though.
