I hope this is an OK post for this board!
I am trying desperately to get the # of miles I need for 2 RT to Asia on JAL FC. Have ~30K AA and 170K on Diners....but need 260K all together. Would LOVE to trade, in any legal way (like I book and give you ticket, etc.) I can return AA or DC 'miles" from the 209,000 I have on AMEX, or 142K on Delta. ANY other thoughts of how to do this would also be MOST welcome....

Why don't you take advantage of the current double miles offer from Diners Club and British Airways? If you have 170K miles on Diners, this would mean you have 340,000 Club Rewards points. You could convert 130,000 points one-for-one into British Airways miles, which can be claimed for a JAL FC award from North America to Bangkok. This leaves you with 210,000 Club Rewards points. Convert these to 105,000 AA miles, which combined with your existing 30,000 AA miles, will be just enough for a second JAL FC ticket to BKK. Bon Voyage!
