As per June 01 JAL joins Qualiflyer program on all flts except domestic within Japan, they are adding some Europe-Japan flts as well.

Can you explain the Qualiflyer program a bit more? I am flying discounted JAL with my wife at the end of July (NRT-Bali), and I have been told that the flight will not count for anything.
Does Qualifyer mean (dare I hope) that the miles would count after all?

Qualiflyer is the SR SN and other european Airlines program, I received my last account statement and they post that JAL will join the program everywhere except domesctic Japan, but check with SR for your special discounted fare, also check with Randy or one of the Experts in this board,(Doc, Catman, etc).Have a good trip.
