I am booked on US1510 next Friday and I was wondering if they still have the Traditional Transformations safety video that they had before the merger. Much to my chagrin, I haven't been able to Fly with US since last November.

The safety video on US seems exactly the same as the US one before the merger, but I'm usually more focused on my Scotch than the video, so perhaps some minor details changed.

I got it on video on the A320 EOW, it isn't full screen and there are anoying children behind me but I will upload it to YouTube when I get home.

Also, I have never heard Latin Transformations or Carribean Transformations only Traditional Transformations. Does anyone have access to those? US/HP discontinued the Soundscapes channel on onboard entertainment.

In fact, the US West flights now use the US East safety video openings and closings spliced on the US West video information.

I still get goosebumps when the Transformation crescendo rises and the camera pans over the 1980s vintage flight information screen featuring an LGA-MCI-LAX flight...

"On behalf of all of us, we wish you a pleasant flight. Thank you for choosing US Airways."

Then there's the old pan-pipes theme... that was from the Global Carrier of Choice era, right?

No offense, but the did FA's look at you like you were crazy. I was on the 767 recording from the big screen and the FA's kept pointing at me. Pretty soon all the FA's back from Y came up to Envoy (to be featured in the film??? :D )giggling and pointing at me recording it. It was funny, but I got most of the movie. 767's work best for this.

Nah, they liked me cause I was decked out in U S merchandise. The F/A even gave me a heritage logo pin once we arrived in Philly.

Are you pax or employee? I always travel w/ the pin and my suit is in dark blue old US Airways colors so it looks like I am an employee. I get many questions of where am I based and what work group am I in? Pilot?, lol... not just yet!
